Ramoji Film City is a one-stop destination for film-makers, providing comprehensive infrastructure and world-class facilities for pre-production, production, post-production.It is the largest integrated film city in the world.
Ramoji Film City was established by Indian film producer Ramoji Rao, head of Ramoji Group, in 1996. The facility has been certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest film studio complex.

It is also a popular tourism and recreation center, containing both natural and artificial attractions including an amusement park.
The studio has produced films in many Indian languages and also now a days attracting producers from Hollywood as well. It is the only place where one can walk-in with a script and walk-out with a canned film
The place can provide you real experience of films in making.
When we reached Ramoji Film City, the vastness you can understood while travelling from entrance gate to the Ramoji Film City gate. It would be great if you stayed here for atleast one night so that you can enjoy the evening as well may be in Mughal Garden and that too in Hyderabad.
During our tour, we not only found many well know architecture of across India, but also railway station, train, post office village, central jail, town of London, many known parks, fountains etc. Some of the services are paid but it worth availing those like technique used while making film.
We were lucky that we got to know about film Sholay and the scene was when dacoits running after Basanti and Basanti was on horse cart trying to escape. That gentleman chose one ladies from audience only and then show us shows us in three phases now that scene was captured. You really need to be there to feel the experience.
The place is equipped with many restaurants and of course hotel where you can stay and enjoy food as well.
We really need these type of place bit more to boost our film industries.
